We Believe in the Power of Local Leaders
At Sparrow Missions, we’ve seen the fruit of local leaders spearheading change in their own communities.
We have seen this take root in Honduras, as local leaders fulfill the mission God has given them. Young people who once attended our Bible studies, kids’ programs, and discipleship groups are now the ones leading them.
We are seeing this happen yet again in Thailand, Peru, and restricted areas in Southeast Asia…local pastors and leaders are taking up the call to make disciples.
These pastors, teachers, mentors, and servants are spreading the Gospel where our hands could never reach alone.
That’s the fruit of investment. That’s the power of discipleship.

At Sparrow Missions, we believe the Gospel has the greatest impact when it’s lived and shared by those who understand the heart of their people. Research shows that sustainable, long-term impact starts with those who are already personally invested in a particular location. When you support the GLF, you’re not just supporting a program; you’re investing in a person who brings the hope of Jesus to their own people. The Gospel grows stronger when it’s led from within.
These leaders know the culture, the language, and the norms, and their hearts long for the salvation of their own people.

How will you invest? Funding local leaders stretches every dollar into hard-to-reach places. Investing in the Global Leader Fund is directly funding the work Sparrow Missions is doing in Honduras, Thailand, Peru, and restricted-access countries around the world. This fund pays for pastor training, community outreach, leader stipends, and more!
